Q: How do I know if a particular
turbo will fit and work on my car?
A: We try to make the turbo purchasing and
upgrading as easy as possibly by categorizing
our turbos by auto manufacturer and brand.
Occasionally, some brands and manufacturer
parts are cross-compatible. If you have
a question about fitment of a specific turbo,
please feel free to call or email us.
Q: Do I need any other modifications
when installing an upgraded or aftermarket
turbo?
A: Anytime you install a turbo on a naturally
aspirated vehicle, or upgrade the stock
turbo(s), it's important to upgrade the
supporting factions of your car's fueling
system. What needs upgrading will vary greatly
from car to car; anything from injectors,
to fuel pumps, or engine management. The
determining factor will be the goals for
your car. Give us a call and let us help
plan your project.
Q: What size turbo should I choose?
A: This again, depends on the goals you
have for your car, as well as other factors
such as engine strength and engine displacement.
If your goal is make a reliable, daily-driven
250whp Civic, you probably don't need one
of our PT101 turbos, which is capable of
2100hp. Additionally, using an extremely
large turbo on a small displacement engine,
will make for a very short, unusable powerband.
This is another area we are pleased to help
you with in making a decision, so give us
a call or shoot us an email.
